HOME DELIVERY DRIVER - OWNER/OPERATOR

We service a wide range of industries-from steel and building supplies to bread and ice cream-with great drivers and great equipment.

Our company is growing rapidly. We work with multiple leading providers of Delivery Route Work, and we are in search of Independent Contractors who are Business minded, dependable, aggressive.

We are looking for drivers and helpers (Owner / Operator) to do Furniture and / or Appliance Delivery Route for our Cincinnati, OH location.

The Driver will serve to support our transportation and logistics department in a safe and timely manner, and willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities : (include, but are not limited to)

• Furniture and / or appliance delivery route.
• Route requires some drops and some assemblies.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.

Requirements :

• Vehicle Requirement : Candidates must own or lease a 26ft box truck. This vehicle will be essential for fulfilling job duties and transporting goods.
• Contract Type : This position is offered on a 1099 independent contractor basis. As such, you will be responsible for managing your own taxes and benefits.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must have active carrier authority to transport property from the Department of Transportation.
• Must Comply with all local laws and regulations concerning I-9, Workers Compensation.
• The business must screen workers for relevant criminal background history.
• Lift and move product and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• No more than 2 Moving Violations and 1 at fault accident in the past 3 years.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Active DOT with FMCSA
• Driver and Helper Must Pass a background check and drug screen.

Weekly income of $3,500 to $4,000 per week (5days contract). Weekly settlement - Direct deposit, No Week held.
