Director of Quality
Exclusive . Parent company is a US based corporation that is publicly traded and driven to double revenues over next 4-5 years.
Connecticut division is a strategic component of the growth plan and due to existing contracts, improved processes, pending integration of acquisitions, and business development, expectations are to grow locally at 12-15% annually.
Report to Division President.
OPPORTUNITY : Looking for a hands-on Quality Director to lead 12 Quality Engineers and Technicians. Partner across total business and with customers and vendors.
Enhance and maintain Quality Management System and processes for two profit centers. Lead internal / external audit activities to ensure certifications and customer / supplier audit criteria are satisfied.
Be part of leadership team on due diligence and integration of acquisitions.
Establish and measure quality metrics. Champion continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives. Lead root-cause analysis;
identify effective corrective actions and process improvements. Develop and implement business strategies with annual objective goals to meet financial, customer, process and organizational targets.
Mentor and develop direct reports; provide quality training.
REQUIREMENTS : BS required; MBA or ASQ certification a plus. Seek 8+ years of business experience that includes quality management and leadership within an IS09001 and / or AS9100 setting.
Local candidates only.
REWARD : $140,000 to $160,000 DOE plus 10% bonus
