Summary :
Responsible for providing broad-based administrative support to the Legal and Compliance functions of the bank's nationwide payment card activities.
Must be able to schedule, plan, coordinate, communicate, and execute effectively while balancing the respective administrative needs of multiple supported staff.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or GED. College degree a plus.
Experience : A minimum of three years of relevant administrative experience, preferably gained at a bank, other financial services organization, or law firm.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Functions :
- Provides ongoing administrative support to the General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer and his or her direct reports, including by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and tracking the completion of Compliance projects.
- Continuously monitors Compliance program goals and upcoming milestones, including the status of Compliance audits.
- Facilitates the review and approval of law firm and other third-party invoices, and monitors and organizes incoming legal correspondence.
- Logs and tracks the status of arbitration matters and lawsuits.
- Monitors and manages various third-party subscription services utilized by Legal and Compliance.
- Helps assure that board policies, compliance risk assessments, and various legal and compliance reports are timely prepared and delivered through effective tracking and by facilitating the collection and distribution of supporting information.
- In addition to performing administrative duties, may be called on to perform certain compliance activities, including data analysis working under the direction of relevant Compliance staff.
