Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.

Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Candidate will be required on an infrequent basis to go underway on units and to frequently work on moored pier-side units.

Physical ability to navigate steep stairs and ladders as well as work in confined spaces is a requirement. Ability to travel up to 50 percent of the time CONUS and OCONUS.

Candidate must have a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
• Experience with the Aegis Weapon System C&D and / or ADS elements.
• Experience with development, test and / or integration of C3I / C4I systems.
• Experience with development, test and / or integration of Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT) System, Advanced Training Domain (ATD), or similar complex integrated training systems.
• Experience with Tactical Data Links testing / operation.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate :

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
