About The Position
Job Title : Hematology / Oncology Physician Assistant Job Specialty : Oncology Job Duration : February 1, 2025, to August 30, 2025 Shift : 40 hours per week, 4x10 hour day shifts Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Outpatient hematology experience preferred;
experience with chemotherapy prescribing and bone marrow biopsy License : Active CT license Certifications : - Board Certified (BC)- ONS chemotherapy certification- Basic Life Support (BLS)- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- DEA certification Must-Have : - Epic proficient- Independent practitioner capabilities Job Description : Independently evaluate adult medicine patients- Document care plans- Conduct some new patient evaluations in benign and malignant hematology- Manage chemotherapy toxicities- Provide support to nurses (RNs), medical assistants (MA), and certified oncology assistants (COA)- Perform chemotherapy prescribing with certificationJoin our team and make a meaningful impact in oncology care!
