Bodhi Learning Center is a private practice that specializes in serving individuals ages 2-12 with complex neurodevelopmental disorders, primarily Autism.

Bodhi Learning Center is looking for an occupational therapist with a strong desire to serve neurodivergent children and families.
As an occupational therapist, you will assess children’s conditions, needs, and goals to establish effective therapy and treatment plans.
You will provide play-based therapy and communicate with patients, their family, and caregivers while being compassionate and sensitive to a patient's concerns.
Occupational Therapist Duties and Responsibilities
Full-time & Part-time, flexible hours
Provide weekly in the child’s home, school, or clinic
Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment plans and goal
When applicable, implement AAC during therapy sessions
Discuss patient's goals and progress with the patient's care team (SLP, ABA, teachers)
Recommend and educate patients on medical & adaptive equipment (writing tools, leg braces, etc.)
Record patient activities, progress, and improvement
Maintain clinical records of all patient care
Potential for supervisory duties of training and managing COTAs and graduate students
Complete well-written diagnostic evaluations
Counsel family members or caregivers about relevant disorders
Work with other social workers, teachers, and pediatric physicians as needed
Complete billing information and fulfill other administrative tasks
Participate in our community outreach events and programs (at least 2x per year).
Occupational Therapist Requirements and Qualifications
Master's degree in occupational therapy
Occupational Therapist, registered (OTR) License and proof of passing the national examination administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Continuing education classes for maintenance of certification
Meets all TN state licensure requirements
Minimum 1 year experience working in pediatrics
Must have a valid TN Driver’s License.
Must carry Professional Liability Insurance.
Pass a background check.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
