Position Overview :
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education teacher for our school district in Winchester, MA.
This full-time position involves supporting a 6th-8th grade caseload with moderate special needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and collaborating with educational assistants to support student success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the diverse needs of students.
- Apply behavioral intervention strategies to support positive behavior and emotional regulation.
- Design and implement tailored instructional strategies to meet the unique learning requirements of each child.
- Collaborate with educational assistants
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Special Education certification in MA.
- Moderate to Severe DESE endorsement(required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with early childhood caseloads is preferred.
Salary and Benefits :
- Hourly Rate : $33-$37+. (Dependent on experience and school district budget)
