About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab TechnologistJob Specialty : Cardiac Cath / EP Lab - Surgical TechnologistJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : 4x10-hour shifts, primarily days with some late-night and on-call requirements as per unit needsGuaranteed Hours : Not SpecifiedExperience : 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience requiredLicense : Must meet New York State requirements to be recognized as a Certified Surgical Technician or equivalentCertifications : Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT preferred;
BLS certification requiredMust-Have : - COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID seriesJob Description : - Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures, including the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment- Anticipate equipment required during procedures- Operate equipment and maintain sterile instruments- Function in multiple roles of the procedure team, including scrub, circulator, and documenter- Demonstrate good organizational skills to ensure efficient workflowPlease note that this opportunity requires a professional who can adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.
