Job Description
GENERAL DUTIES :
- Write software to efficiently manipulate data in a way that's useful for machine learning and other forms of analysis
- Create and maintain container orchestration and virtualization environments for prototype development and testing
- Set up and troubleshoot hardware to power development environments while ensuring compliance with local security rules
- Support an analytics pipeline by improving and / or troubleshooting aspects of its engineering design
- Design and / or implement software solutions for existing engineering challenges
- Contribute to new and better techniques to support customer goals
Required Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- 6-12 years of DevOps / systems / software engineering experience (Python, Scripting, System Administration, Virtualization, networking, storage and compute platforms, etc.)
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar technical discipline. 4 years of experience can substitute for a B.S. degree

Desired Skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience with systems / tools such as Kubernetes, Helm, Elasticsearch and Docker
- Experience with programming languages beyond Python such as C, C++, Java, and / or Go
- Experience with working on Linux systems and debugging networking / security issues (i.e. knowing where to find logs, handling common errors, Googling things before asking for help)
- Familiarity with distributed computing environments and related frameworks such as Hadoop
