WFOR-TV, the CBS-owned and operated television station in Miami, is seeking a bold and innovative newscast producer who excels at crafting meaningful newscasts.

Key Responsibilities
Build an engaging newscast that feels comprehensive while simultaneously crafting moments for news anchors to show command of the information.
- Write conversational, balanced copy that provides the appropriate depth and context.
- React quickly to breaking news and weather.
- Actively participate in editorial meetings and pitch stories regularly.
- Stay organized while managing time, people, and other resources.
- Cultivate partnership and collaboration through strong communication skills.
- Edit pacers for newscast from desktop computer.
- Exhibit confidence in the control room.
- Ensure accurate grammar, spelling, and attention to detail in all content produced.
- Incorporate digital elements into newscasts in a meaningful way.
Requirements :
- 5 years of producing newscasts in a medium to large market.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Must exhibit deep understanding of journalistic principles and ethics.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Experience on INEWS or equivalent news computer system, experience working with video editing systems.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
