A day in the life
The Architect is responsible for determining technical requirements for moderately complex organizational projects or strategic initiatives.
This role assesses projects, gathers technical requirements and document use cases, selects, or develops hardware or software architectural solutions, and coordinates installation, integration, and testing.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Contributes to architectural designs, diagrams, and specification documentation for assigned projects.
- Implements elements of the IT architecture roadmap by creating short-term tactical solutions to achieve long-term objectives.
- Ensures development of complete solutions utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
- Articulates technical recommendations to key stakeholders through written and verbal communication.
- Assists in technical consultation with clients and management on projects aligned to the roadmap.
- Maintains industry knowledge of emerging technologies and trends.
- Supports critical and high-risk projects of moderately complex scope in the build / development, testing and implementation phases until the project delivers a solution.
- Monitors solution performance and recommends technological changes to increase uptime, stability, and security.
- Performs work under general supervision.
What you need to succeed
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related.
- 3 years of IT architecture or related experience.
- Experience with integrations and large platforms, such as ServiceNow.
- Have an analytical mindset and be a problem solver
- Ability to communicate well with stakeholders and the team
- Desire to understand the team and business processes
Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards
