The purpose and function of the Stock & Material Handler position is to general warehouse duties at our Parts Center
At Honda, our associates take pride in their responsibilities. A typical day for a Stock & Material Handler will include :
- Picking, packing, shipping, and receiving of all Honda / Acura parts and accessories
- Operating a forklift and other warehouse machinery (*A minimum height of 60" is required to operate warehouse forklift equipment)*
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling 25-50 lbs frequently
Qualifications
We are looking for qualified people and diverse background and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic, to bring the future to Honda as a Stock & Material Handler, you must have :
- High School Diploma / GED
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Bending, walking, and lifting up to 25-50lbs on a frequent basis required
- Comfortable working at high levels on an elevated platform
- Ability to work any shift, weekends, and overtime
- Must be a team player and willing and able to find, implement, and embrace new methods and processes to enhance operations
