The Role : As a Senior Product Manager at Aigen, you will own the Product Requirements Document (PRD), and be the voice of the customer in the development of our advanced agriculture robotics platform.

You'll work closely with teams of software, electrical and test engineers, and the operations staff, to understand their needs, create new solutions, and make sure these solutions work well everywhere.

Your role is key in developing the technology for both our current and future robots. You'll have a big impact on improving our custom robotics platform.

Responsibilities

  • Software Product Delivery : Deliver products that integrate hardware and software.
  • Product Management : Drive the end-to-end product management process, including market research, defining product vision and strategy, roadmap development, feature prioritization, and lifecycle management to ensure successful product launch and market adoption.
  • Innovation and Improvement : Drive innovation in product design and processes, staying abreast of emerging technologies and software user interfaces.
  • Project Management : Work with Program Manager to create project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Team Collaboration : Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, field engineering, marketing, and sales.
  • Quality and Customer Satisfaction : Ensure products meet product requirements document, quality standards and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Experience : At least 5 years in product management with a focus on hardware and software development.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in software development, and product lifecycle management.
  • Communication : Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialized Experience : Expertise in IoT, AI, robotics, and agriculture.
  • Industry Experience : Background in a startup environment / agriculture.
  • Additional Skills : Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Indicators of Good Fit

  • Experience with the agriculture industry.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
