Certification Details

• Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.

• Providing light, moderate, and deep sedation for patient completing radiologic testing or small procedures.
• Providing pre / pacu / post recovery for general anesthesia, day treatment overflow, miscellaneous prep for other testing- IV and foley placement, etc.

Job Requirements

• Facility Requirement : Traveler must have permanent address outside 50-mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile).
• Experience : Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
• Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
• Traveler must have successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).
• Pediatric experience required.
• Chemotherapy certification required for Day Treatment.
• Pre / Post / PACU experience required for Campground.

Schedule Information

Traveler must only submit if they can work the schedule posted and are interested in the unit.

Unit Specific Information

• The position may involve working in Day Treatment or Campground units.
• Floating : Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and / or based on the traveler's competency skills / experience.
• The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and / or different locations within the organization.
• During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
