A law firm located in San Francisco is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with a focus on employment litigation.
The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience in employment litigation, employment counseling, and traditional labor work.
Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.
The candidate must be licensed to practice law in California or currently eligible for licensure.
Duties :
- Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court hearings and mediations.
- Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including compliance with state and federal laws, employee relations, and workplace policies.
- Assist clients in traditional labor matters, such as collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex employment law issues and provide recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and achieve client objectives.
Requirements :
- 2-5 years of experience in employment litigation, employment counseling, and traditional labor work.
- Interest in employment litigation.
- Excellent academic credentials and references.
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Currently licensed to practice law in California or currently eligible for licensure.
Education :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission.
Skills :

- Ability to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines.
- Strong oral advocacy skills for representing clients in court and before administrative agencies.
