CMA (Certified Medical Assistant)

Oregon Urology Institute (OUI) has a Full-Time, CMA opportunity.

Summary : Responsible for partnering with physicians and staff with patient care.

Essential Functions :

• Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Takes patient history / vital signs.
• Hands on procedure-oriented nursing care in a fast-paced office.
• Prepares exam rooms and instruments for examination and procedures.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.

Preferred qualifications :

• Able to assist in a variety of treatments.
• Skill in taking vital signs.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with physicians, patients and co-workers.
• Must be flexible and a quick learner.
• Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements :

• Current CMA certification.
• 1-3 years relevant experience, preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited CMA / program required.
• Current healthcare level CPR certification required.
• All new employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and able to provide proof on their first day of work.
• All candidates must pass a drug screen, reference and background check in order to be considered for employment.
