What we do : Responsible for both the design, development and implementation of short- and long-term solutions to information technology (IT) needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure and the management of the IT infrastructure within the Bank.

Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Bank’s systems and information assets through the various security activities it performs including, but not limited to, security assessments, cyber risk management, and incident response Your role as an Information Security Analyst

  • Support Information Security team objectives and mission including responding to cyber security incidents.
  • Conducting quantitative and / or qualitative analyses, which may include identifying trends, monitoring data, preparing reports and / or visualizations, providing recommendations, and presenting findings.
  • Exploring and learning new technology platforms for business requirements and providing recommendations for applying available technology and process changes for automated systems.
  • Providing support and resolution of security problems by analyzing, troubleshooting, remediating, and resolving issues in alignment with security practices.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to manage core operational duties, supplemental ad hoc tasks, and project work, while identifying opportunities for process improvements, and adapting to changes in operations. What we are looking for :
  • Achieves operational targets within their job area that have some impact on the overall achievement of results for their department.
  • Works in a limited scope on smaller, less complex projects or task-related activities.
  • Performs work under close supervision with ability to self-direct under manager’s discretion
  • Requires broad theoretical job knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical domain
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to quickly gather, analyze, synthesize and organize information
  • Ability to work in an office environment and / or remotely as applicable
  • Develops an understanding of team structure and a growing knowledge of the broader Bank. Salary Range : $90,000 We believe in transparency at the NY Fed.

This salary range reflects a variety of skills and experiences candidates may bring to the job.
