Responsibilities
- Responsible for development and implementation of assigned tasks and projects.
- Provides technical and analytical guidance to team.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards, metrics, and reviews deliverables.
- Clear communication skills : conducts meetings and responsible for informing Government on status and analysis.
- Review, update, and publication of Department of the Air Force data and digital modernization strategy materials as well as SAF / CND Strategic documents.
- Full-time support and knowledge about DAF and DoD publication and issuance coordination.
- Responsible for reviewing, planning, and implementing relevant strategic guidance documents as required.
- Provide support to data governance, interoperability, digital modernization, OSD & CN Performance Metrics development and evaluation, RAI governance, Warfighter Trust, AI Product & Acquisition Lifecycle, Requirements Validation, Responsible AI Ecosystem and AI Workforce.
- Support collaboration and coordination to provide data, AI, and RAI expertise and insight into management strategies, guidance, and governance procedures.
- Develop communications plans and write speeches for SAF / CND leadership, develop presentations, write articles, ghostwrite emails and statements, and lead writing and development of reports such as the annual congressional and compliance and historical report, and write bullet background papers, talking points, and slicksheets.
- Review content written by SAF / CND team and provide editorial feedback on content and grammar.
- Development of background papers, PowerPoint presentations, project coordination, and creation of strategic governance documents.
- Coaching speakers on talking points, coordinating with event organizers on event planning and topics. Maintaining the Event Calendar on SharePoint and coordinating public affairs approval, security and policy review.
Qualifications
- Active TS clearance.
- 3-5 years of experience in digital strategy development to DoD or the DAF, which includes knowledge of strategic development, alignment, and coordination.
- Familiarity with OSD A&M and DAF correspondence templates, DoD Issuances, DAF Tongue and Quill guidelines, and the Chicago Manual of Style.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree.
- Government experience preferred.
- Candidates should have a deep understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
- Proficient in programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python, R, or Java.
