Job Summary :

Generations Home Care is currently seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team in providing home care services to our clients in the Kingston area, as well as general Kitsap County.

We accept Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Care Aides (HCA), or anyone who is able to obtain a certificate within 200 days of hire (assistance provided).

We provide training and orientation to all of our staff.

This job post is specific to one clients needs, who lives in Kingston; but once hired you may pick-up other clients! This client needs care from 10 am to 10 pm.

They are a fall-risk and will need stand-by assist when they are using their walker. Other than that, general companionship and respite care for the spouse is needed.

There are no pets in the house.

Compensation and Benefits :

Hourly pay rate of $19-21, depending on certification status

Paid twice monthly, on the 10th and 25th

Responsibilities for General Shifts within our Company :

Assist clients with daily activities, such as grooming, bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry

Assist with medical appointments and other activities that require accompaniment

Assist with mobility, transportation, and errands

Adhere to safety procedures and medical protocols

Monitor clients’ medication intake and report any irregularities

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Provide emotional support to clients and their families

Requirements :

Manage app based technology for care plan and clocking in / out

Ability to follow care plan instructions and adhere to medical protocols

Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds

CNA / HCA certification or ability to earn one within 200 days of hire

Excellent time management skills

Must be able to pass a background check

Preferred CPR / First Aid certification

Relationship development with clients and families
