Join our team at Generations Family Health Center!Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a 37-town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam.

Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental and behavioral healthcare, as well as care coordination and community outreach.

Location : Willimantic, CT and Mobile Health Unit (various locations across service area)Job Responsibilities : As a Family Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, you will provide a broad range of clinical primary care services, which will include routine and appropriate ambulatory adult, pediatric, and gynecological care as assigned.

Your specific duties in this APRN role include : Providing care appropriate to the age of the patients servedPerforming office diagnostic and therapeutic proceduresPerforming therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and managing infectionInstructing and counseling patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenanceDeveloping and implementing patient management plans, recording progress notes, and assisting in provision of continuity of carePerforming comprehensive physical examinations and compiling patient medical data, including health history and physical exam resultsQualificationsM.
