Adjunct Faculty - Early Childhood/Teacher Education

We are seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach in the Early Childhood / Teacher Education Department courses. Courses are available in-person, online, and concurrently during the fall 15-week semester.
In person and concurrent classes meet once per week during the morning, afternoon, and evening. Online classes are asynchronous.
Example of Duties :
- Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College's academic calendar and approved syllabi.
- Meet all scheduled class sessions.
- Maintain and report accurate student grades and attendance records using approved procedures and systems.
- Participate in assessment activities in support of the PCCC institutional effectiveness program.
- Utilize the appropriate technology, including the College's student learning platform, to fulfill teaching duties, including familiarity with the use of Blackboard Ultra.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree required; a Master's degree in education strongly preferred.
- Experience teaching at a higher education level in the field of early childhood and teacher education.
- Sensitivity, commitment, and experience working with a diverse student population.
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
