About the Position
We are seeking a Civil Engineer / CM Scheduler who will assist the Engineering Consulting Team that provides oversight for construction activities related to Design Build projects.
This is a long-term, onsite position located in the greater Atlanta area or potentially other areas around the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Review project schedules to determine construction time.
- Review Master, Milestones and What-If schedules for projects.
- Data entry using Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Review plans and ensure that schedules include all identified scope, while working with Project Managers to identify schedule related risks.
- Work with other team members in the Project Controls group and assist with the development of Earned Value Management (EVM) curves and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking.
- Interact with project controls, accounting, and scheduling staff from other agencies and firms.
- Prepare project control reports with corrective action plans when required.

Minimum Requirements
- 0 to 5 years background knowledge of the civil engineering and construction industry. Ideal for recent graduates with Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management focused degrees.
- Familiar with Oracle Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office 365 (e.g., email, internet, Word, Excel, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Project management, scheduling, or cost management training.
- Experience with transportation design and construction projects.
- Knowledge and experience in developing project schedules, cost and change management systems, and EVM reports.
- Proficiency with project controls software, such as Oracle Primavera P6, MS Project, PowerBI, Procore, and InEight.
Compensation Details
The salary range listed for this role is $65-75K annually. The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications / licenses that have been obtained, etc.
