Repair Technician
Location : Fully Onsite in Santa Clara
Duration : On going contract
Must Haves :
- 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing complex devices
- Experience in an environment with more regulated QC, GDP practices, etc.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring schematics, while using sound analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues
- Team-player reference to speak to ability to work well with teammates
Plusses :
- Robotics medical device repair experience
- Secondary degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering
Day-to-Day :
Insight Global is searching for a service repair technician to work onsite, repairing devices for a large medical device client.
While this is a well-established company, this is a start-up environment where flexibility and being open-minded is encouraged and required for the team’s success.
This individual will be performing test and repair of the Robotic Platforms at the subsystem, interface and component levels.
They will be assisting with documenting test plans, results, conclusion and traceability with product requirements and design specs.
They will analyze test failures, troubleshoot, identify root causes of failures and verify corrective actions, which establishing customer satisfaction through excellence in repair and support of customer products.
They will support the quality system by following work instructions and creating records to beet requirements of the QMS (Quality Management System).
They must apply good manufacturing practices (GMP) and good documentation practice (GDP) principals to assembly, test records and related documentation.
This is a position where we are willing to train the right candidate with limited experience who is eager to grow into a long-term contract with potential for hire.
This is a growing team that is looking to ramp up and train fully before the device is rolled out to the market soon.
