Account Manager Commercial Landscaping Industry
King of Prussia, PA
Yearly Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
Responsibilities :
- Develop strong long-term relationships with clients
- Serve as primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns and requests
- Conduct regular site visits and meeting with clients to review services, discuss issues or enhancements
- Make recommendations for each property, address client concerns
- Project Manage and oversee the planning, execution and completion of landscaping projects
- Coordinate with operations team to ensure timely delivery of services
- Monitor project progress, ensuring budgets, timelines and quality standards
- Responsible for sales and business development, identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and new business, prepare proposals, bids and estimates to clients
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms
- Drive renewal rate in your region with a goal of no less than a 90% renewal rate
- Collaborate with landscape designers, horticulturists, and maintenance teams to meet client expectations
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams
- Quality Assurance, ensure all services meet company standards and client specifications, conduct regular quality inspections and address any deficiencies, implement corrective actions as necessary maintaining high service levels
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer service in the landscaping industry.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping practices, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in our knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with Aspire is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Work Environment
- Combination of office work and field visits to client sites.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet client needs.
- Physical requirements include walking, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
