Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, positive, and proactive Account Executive to join our New York team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least3+ years of public relations experience, a proven track record of securing press placements across print, digital, broadcast, and podcast outlets, and possess strong editor contacts and exceptional writing abilities. Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, positive, and proactive Account Executive to join our New York team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least3+ years of public relations experience, a proven track record of securing press placements across print, digital, broadcast, and podcast outlets, and possess strong editor contacts and exceptional writing abilities. Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure consistent press placements for clients in top-tier media outlets (print, digital, broadcast, podcast)
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with editors and media contacts
  • Draft compelling press materials including pitches, press releases, and media alerts
  • Lead and support multiple client accounts simultaneously with attention to detail and strategic thinking
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of PR campaigns
  • Track media coverage and prepare client reports using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Contribute creative ideas for campaign strategies and client events (event experience is a plus)
  • Utilize influencer tracking tools such as Muckrack / LEFTY (experience is a plus but not required)
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years PR agency or in-house experience working with lifestyle, fashion, or beauty brands preferred
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging content under tight deadlines
  • Solid network of editor / media contacts with proven results in securing placements
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with Muckrack / LEFTY influencer tracking tools is a plus but not required
  • Event execution experience is a plus but not required
  • Must be based in New York City and able to work in-office on a hybrid schedule
