McGuireWoods LLP has an opening for a Financial Analyst to join our team in the Richmond, VA office. This role is responsible for generating and preparing the firm’s financial reports for key stakeholders and firm management.
The ideal candidate will have at least one to two years of financial analysis experience, strong Microsoft Excel skills and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Generates / prepares financial reports and presentations (monthly, quarterly and annually).
- Performs ad-hoc analyses.
- Manages and executes on multiple assignments from the Finance team.
- Maintains open communication of assignments to the Financial Reporting & Budgeting Manager.
Qualifications
- Requires Bachelor’s Degree and one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Power BI Desktop, and other firm provided software as required.
- Experience programming with SQL, Python or DAX is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as superior planning and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and detail-oriented.
- Prior experience in a legal environment is a plus, but not required.
