Job Summary
Perform as a clinically competent practitioner of respiratory care, providing therapy, management, rehabilitation, and diagnostic evaluation to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
Administer respiratory therapy, perform pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to provide quality service to patient care units.
Participate in additional training to develop expertise and skills in specialized clinical areas.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor Degree from an AMA approved Respiratory program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) granted by The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
- State of CT Respiratory Care Practitioner license required
- BLS certification required
