The Registered Nurse is responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, assessing physical health needs, making appropriate referrals to community physicians;
providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing a range of treatment, and support services.

Required Education and Experience
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Currently licensed by the Kentucky Board of Nursing
- Valid driver’s license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Essential Functions

- Conduct health and psychosocial assessments and assess the overall physical health of the client
- Complete all appropriate initial comprehensive assessments and ongoing review for scope of treatment
- Collaborate with treatment team in development and implementation of individual treatment plans addressing physical health issues and determining achievable goals
- Direct, coordinate, and provide support promoting client adherence with treatment plan
- Collaborate with health care providers
- Build and maintain networking relationships within the medical community and other available healthcare resources
- Facilitate and accompany clients to medical appointments and follow up visits
- Facilitate staff training regarding medication side effects and monitoring for psychiatric symptoms
- Provide mental and physical health, medication information and training to clients and their families
- Coordinate and provide leadership to the staff medication administration services
- Collaborate with team psychiatrist regarding assessment, treatment planning, medication issues, general healthcare concerns, medical and psychosocial approaches, and review progress and other treatment needs
