About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day, 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) or Day, 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 3+ Years required License : Active MD or Compact License required at submission Certifications : Flu Vaccine required (No Exemptions) Must-Have : - Level I trauma experience - Teaching hospital experience - Scrub experience Job Description : - Adhere to the 50 Mile Radius Rule;
- no locals - Candidates need to be able to circulate and scrub cases - No first-time travelers - Comfortable with no restrictions or special requests as long as it is within their experience scope - Compliance documentation deadline is 3 days prior to start - RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at initial submission and cannot be changed - Should not exceed 7 days for RTO;
more than 4 consecutive days will add an additional week to the contract - Most units allow for one major holiday off during the winter season - References are required : 1 from a supervisor / manager and 1 from a charge RN Note : Return travelers must be away for at least 6 months before returning.
Former staff must be gone for 12 months before they can return as a traveler.
