Job Description :
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Lynnfield, MA.
The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct behavioral therapy to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
This role involves implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), collecting data on student progress, and working closely with the educational team to create positive outes for students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to students based on BIPs designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention techniques to support students in improving social, munication, and functional skills.
- Collect and record detailed data on student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with the educational team, including teachers and school staff, to support the student's learning environment.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions with the BCBA to review student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Use evidence-based behavior management techniques to manage challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior changes.
- Support students in general education classrooms or special education settings, depending on their needs.
- Maintain open munication with the educational team and families regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of student information.
Qualifications :
- Must be a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a valid credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- High school diploma required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education) is preferred.
- Experience working with children or students with developmental disabilities, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention techniques.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with special needs.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data collection and documentation.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
