Role Overview

We are seeking two passionate and bilingual / biliterate Special Education Teachers to join our preschool team in Boulder, CO.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals dedicated to early childhood education and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for preschool students.
  • Provide specialized instruction tailored to the needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to support student progress.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student development and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions for students between various educational settings.

Qualifications

  • Valid Early Childhood Special Education Teacher license in the State of Colorado.
  • Bilingual / biliterate in Spanish and English.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a special education setting.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
