Job Summary :

The Season Pass Marketing team is responsible for driving strategy and go-to-market execution for Vail Resorts' season pass portfolio, anchored by the industry-leading Epic Pass.

The team also leads projects from ideation to fruition around innovation for the Pass business - examples include launching the My Epic app with mobile lift access, Epic Day Pass, Epic FlexPay and Epic Mountain Rewards.

The ideal Marketing Manager of Season Pass Acquisition is an experienced growth marketer with a passion for driving guest acquisition and solving critical business problems with creative solutions.

This position will partner on key business cases to drive innovation on the Season Pass team, and collaborate with our channel and analytics teams to build innovative marketing strategies.

This role is intended for a curious and creative individual that excels at critical thinking, with high learning agility and a strong sense of ownership.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Partner with channel teams on marketing execution for Epic Pass through various channels spanning owned, earned and paid media, make key recommendations to leadership in order to improve or optimize strategy, and bring those recommendations to life
  • Assess strategic opportunities for product / business innovation for the Pass business
  • Partner with Epic Pass Brand Team to move the needle on what our brand stands for, and what we mean to our guests
  • Leverage Tableau dashboards to draw clear, concise narratives on business performance in partnership with our Pass Analytics team
  • Study the competitive landscape and market trends, identify and report out on insights to influence decision-making
  • Manage strategic marketing projects from strategy creation to execution
  • Collaborate on defining channel strategies to drive business objectives for the Epic Pass portfolio
  • Provide support across the broader Season Pass Team to drive results while gaining exposure to the full business

Job Requirements

Required :

  • Four-year college degree required
  • Three to five years of marketing experience
  • Proven track record of growth marketing execution, ownership of results, and strong orientation to detail
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities & drive solutions
  • Strength in written and verbal communication, ability to tell compelling stories about full-cycle projects
  • Demonstrated learning agility. Ability to quickly adopt new skills and responsibilities, dive in with curiosity and develop expertise.
  • Able to own and drive multiple projects simultaneously with cross-functional partners
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; a self-starter without the need for daily direction
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, own collaborative inter-departmental relationships and manage up
  • No outdoor or ski experience necessary

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $76,000 - $99,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Full Time roles are eligible for the above, plus :

Vail Resorts offers a Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
