JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Child Guidance & Family Solutions is looking for a qualified Junior Accountant to join our team of dedicated professionals!
This entry-level position will be responsible for payroll, and assisting the Controller with creating, processing and auditing financial transactions, including general ledger and financial statement preparation in compliance with GAAP, federal, state and local guidelines.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Reviews payroll transactions in ADP payroll system, maintaining records and reconciling related accounts.
- Inputs, processes, monitors and reports cash and payroll benefits expense transactions.
- Reconciles bank statements and subsidiary ledgers.
- Assists with month-end and year-end close and prepares reports for Board.
- Assists with audit preparation.
- Analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports.
Required Qualifications :
- Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years in accounting / GL transactions, trial balance through reporting required.
- Minimum of 2 years with third party payroll processing; knowledge of payroll rules / regulations and experience with ADP Payroll preferred.
- Proficiency with Excel needed; experience with Great Plains Dynamics a plus.
