As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue, increase market share, and enhance our brand presence.

You will lead a talented team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue and increase market share.
- Enhance brand presence and recognition in the Kansas City market and beyond.
- Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing sales and marketing team.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including travel agencies, corporate clients, and event planners.
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, with director-level experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of hotel sales leadership experience or equivalent.
- Experience with strategic partnerships and business / leisure transient account sales is preferred.
- Ability to execute a Sales and Marketing Plan to enhance revenue.
- Established relationships within the agency community.
- Strong negotiation and contract interpretation skills.
- Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems.
- Confident and professional appearance.
