The Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP) is a seven year Single Award ID / IQ contract for maintenance, sustainment, operations, and support of Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), Live-Fire Ranges, and Instrumentation Systems.
The ATMP portfolio includes 250,000 live, virtual, constructive, and gaming TADSS located at 422 sites worldwide. The primary customer is PEO STRI in Orlando, FL.
PEO STRI’s published vision for ATMP is integrated, one-stop, world-wide maintenance and sustainment for Army Program of Record (POR) TADSS.
Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of TADSS-RVCT devices. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot, and repair equipment IAW Technical Specification and Documents of fielded TADSS- RVCT devices.
They maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and install various types of government property and related devices for TADSS-RVCT devices.
Applying technical knowledge of electronics principles, they determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to normal operation.
Additionally, they repair equipment and evaluate performance and reliability post-repairs. Technician will perform electrical / mechanical adjustment, remove, and replace failed components, and make repairs on equipment.
Electronic Technician II will document all maintenance actions by inputting data in the MIS Database system.
US Citizenship is required.
Qualified candidate must have a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.
