Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Project Manager to coordinate multiple technical teams and be the primary customer facing spokesperson in a highly dynamic environment.

This position will be fully remote with infrequent intermittent travel needed no more than quarterly.

Responsibilities

Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects. Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff.

Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers.

Generally, reports to a Program Manager.

  • Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
  • Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.
  • Supervises professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines.
  • Schedules tasks and coordinates with various team members to accomplish the results.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Clearance Required : Top Secret (or ability to obtain)
  • Must have or obtain IAT level II certification within 90 days of hire. (i.e., CompTIA Security+(CE)
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of DOD Security, RMF, and / or NIST Policies

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • PMP Certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams
  • Experience with virtual and / or cloud-based servers and applications
  • Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Certification(s) in relevant technologies

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.

If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department / team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $135,000.00 - USD $155,000.00 / Yr.
