Mental Health Counselor : Your job will be to engage with clients in an appropriate therapeutic manner, providing counseling services based on diagnosis and recommended treatment, and support you clients in all professional and possible ways.
Responsibilities :
Therapies you will be providing include individual, couples, marriage, premarital, family, child, adolescent, and anything within your specialty and scope of practice (director approval required).
You will be required to practice in a legal, ethical, and moral manner, as well as in accordance to our philosophy, mission statement and objectives therein.
You will be required to be in regular (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) consultation if licensed, and if unlicensed you will be required to attend supervision in accordance to Washington state law and related ethical standards.
All therapeutic services will be provided in an assigned office, and in a timely manner.
Therapy notes are required for each session and may be reviewed randomly to assess for best practice and overall professional and ethical adherence and development;
if you are still an associate, all your notes will be signed by your supervisor.
You are required to provide and maintain treatment plans for each client.
You are required to be prepared for all job duties, dressed professionally / appropriately, pursuant of professional and personal development.
You are required to be open and flexible with changes that will inevitably be made as Beautiful Autism develops.
You are required to be open to feedback and willing to provide feedback
You may also be asked to perform specific duties related to the day-to-day business functioning of BA, such as cleaning.
