Our Feature platform will enable our data scientists, machine learning engineers, Data Analysts, and customer platform teams to take model and model data inputs (Features) from conception to production faster and safer than ever before.

As a Sr. Product Manage r on the Machine Learning Experience (MLX) Product team , you will be part of the ML Enterprise Feature Platform Team designing and delivering a best in class Feature Engineering Onboarding and Feature Platform Convergence Experience for current and potential internal customers.

This team is focused on building a fast, frictionless feature access experience for Capital One data scientists, analysts, and partnering internal platform teams, so they can focus on building and onboarding business-critical ML models that power our one-of-a-kind banking experiences.

We're passionate about building platform software and driving feature access scale for the next generation of data scientists and modernized platforms at Capital One and are looking for someone excited to help drive a convergence strategy to a single feature platform at scale.

This role represents the needs of the customer to inform the platform roadmap ensuring the capabilities being delivered are aligned with the intended business outcomes.

You will be responsible for feature definition and partnering with tech teams to deliver platform components. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about technology and deeply empathizes with internal and external customer needs.

They are comfortable in conversation with engineering teams as well as stakeholders ranging from data scientists to senior leaders.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for key components of the platform.
• Deeply understand the needs of data scientists and engineers across Capital One .
• Prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes.
• Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.
• Enable collaboration and ensure communication between teams.
• Maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in many agile ceremonies.
• Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments.
• Serve as the connection between customers, Capital One's mission, and your team.

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
• At least 5 years of experience in product management or at least 5 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• MBA or Master's degree
• 3+ years of experience in Agile product management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York City (Hybrid On-Site) : $199,100 - $227,200 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI).

Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
