Responsibilities :
- Monitor patients throughout labor and serve as primary point of contact for family members
- Monitor baby's heart rate and provide immediate care to the newborn
- Perform knowledge of phlebotomy, basic IV and central lines
- Assess and record maternal vital signs throughout labor and post-partum stages
- Administer pain medication and other medicines as ordered
- Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care
