Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line / care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone,

• Post cardiac Cath experience
• ACLS
• NIH preferred
• Charge experience preferred

• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
• Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication) : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

JOB DETAILS : Ratios : 1 : 6-7Shift : NIGHT 3x12-Hour 36 or 48 hours. If 48 THEN NO OT BILLED UNTIL AFTER 48 Will accept 13-26 week contracts!RTO : 7 days MAX;

Float Requirement : YES REQUIREDWeekend Requirement : 4 per 6 weeksContract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team.

Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc).

Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication) : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

SCHEDULING TYPE : Self

UNIT ORIENTATION : 24 hours

SCRUBS : Navy
