Electronics Technician
Experienced electronics technician needed for a growing Electronics Contract Manufacturing company. This person should have a strong electronics background and be comfortable troubleshooting to the component level.
Prefer a background knowledge of digital electronics with integrated circuits at the individual PCBA level. Basic soldering skills, electronic parts identification, and basic mechanical knowledge are required.
Ability to work with minimal supervision is critical. The ideal candidate must be focused on mission success, organized and a team player.
Position Purpose :
To troubleshoot PCBA’s to the component level by performing in-depth bench top analysis using multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and other required electronics diagnostics equipment.
Requirements :
4-6 years of troubleshooting electronic circuits on PCBA’s to the component level
2-year technical degree in electronics, (Associate in Science), or other technical training from military schools such as basic electronics, A1 level training.
To have attained the minimum rank of E-4.
Analyze testing results and apply diagnostic tool to pin point the root cause of defected electronic at the PCBA level
Experienced working with both digital and analog systems
Enter test and repair results in electronic data log
Understanding of production environments
Mechanical ability based on past work history
Critical thinker and problem solver
Motivated self-starter
Able to read schematics proficiently
Familiar with schematic capture tools
Familiar with BOM’s
Proficient with standard lab equipment (Multi-meter, Function generator, Power meter, O’scope)
Skilled in full MS Office suite
Good attitude and work ethic in a team environment
Have satisfactory English written / reading communication
Be adaptable to changing environments
Able to handle Heavy Lab equipment
Able to maintain a presentable and organized work station
Preferred :
At least 6 years of applicable experience.
