Minimum 2 years experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Travel experience preferred.
Must be willing to float to MS / Tele if needed with a max of 4 patients. Every other weekend and every other holiday. GFH requires de-escalation training for all units (Welle, CPI or PMCS).
Must have EPIC experience and strongly prefer CERNER experience. Must have min 4 years of nursing and min 2.5 years in Critical Care.
PREVIOUS COUNTY RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. THIS FACILITY WILL CONSIDER LOCAL CAREGIVERS (50 MILES OR LESS) AT A DISCOUNTED RATE OF $10 OFF CURRENT BILL RATE.
YOU MUST CLEARLY DOCUMENT CARGEIVER IS LOCAL DURING SUBMISSION. THE FACILITY CAN CANCEL UP TO 5 SHIFTS PER CONTRACT.Requirements : At least two years recent experience in field, current BLS certification, and a current nursing license per the state of assignment.

The Unit is comprised of 16 critical care beds, with the availability to overflow into an adjacent 6 bed area to accommodate increases in census.
This area is staffed and equipped to provide highly skilled interdisciplinary services to patients requiring complex and intensive nursing care interventions for life-threatening conditions.
Each room is private. All critical care beds accommodate invasive pressure monitoring, continuous cardiac & oximetry monitoring and additional monitoring equipment, as required for specific patient needs.
Population served includes patients >
18 yrs. of age through geriatric years. There is a conference room that provides privacy for family meetings as needed. There is a covering case manager available seven days per week to assist patients and families in the Critical Care Unit.
