We do Public Works in Southern California.

This is a working carpenter foreman position.

Must have a valid California driver's license.

Experienced in, Drywall, electrical, plumbing, Door & Window installation- prehung and mortise to existing drywall, finish carpentry, Cabinets, Case and base, specifically Door and Clad window installation.

If you have experience on Heavy equipment a bonus, Dirt work, Demo's, excavation, underground, etc. Must be able to drive a 20' trailer towing machines.

COMPENSATION : $48.99 - $ 74.67 Per hour

What You'll Bring : Qualifications :

Qualifications :

• 5 10 years’ experience in underground construction
• Ability to read maps, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
• Experience operating heavy equipment
• Knowledge of proper operation and safety standards of heavy equipment
• 1-3 years’ experience operating heavy machinery, including loaders, dozers, backhoes, and excavators
• Traffic Control Maintainer certificate
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Possess a valid driver’s license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.
• A good driving record is required.
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner.
• Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Willing and able to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift / carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License is a plus (Higher wage scales apply to CDL holders).
• OSHA 10 certificate

Working Conditions :

This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. This position operates in an outdoor environment and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including;

extreme cold, rain, sleet, snow, humidity, high temperatures, and high wind. The outside work environment will vary throughout the day including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and / or rural settings.

This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.

Required Skills :

• Clean Background Check
• Current Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Must speak and understand English
• Experience leading and working with a construction crew
• Experience working with pipe fittings
• Must be responsible and punctual

Preferred Qualifications :

• Previous construction experience, preferably in the underground industry.
• Ability to follow directions and take initiative when needed
• Develop an understanding of daily maintenance for underground equipment
• Ability to perform all underground procedures and duties.
• Ability to travel.

Compensation Range : The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $41.00 / Hr. - USD $60.00 / Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
