- A hospital in California is looking for an experienced CVICU RN for a travel assignment.
- The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS and CA license.

- Candidates must have experience with fresh open hearts, this experience must also be recent, must also have experience with mixed ICU patients as well
Schedule Information
- 12 hour shifts, 6 : 45-7 : 15
- Schedules made out about 6 weeks in advance, self-scheduling, however schedule is not finalized until manager is able to review
Unit Specific Information
- Unit : Cardiac ICU
- Number of beds : 30 beds
- Charge Nurse : Yes, do not take a pt assignment
- Nurse Aides : No
- Weekend Requirement : Every other, no holiday requirement at this time but they may be required to work
- Scrub Color : Navy
- Telemetry : GE monitors
- Vents : Yes
- Floating : Any tele or medsurg units
- Floor specific orientation : 1 day of unit orientation
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Mixed ICU patients
Additional Details
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS; Telemetry, L / D, Emergency and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one.
This is a PASS / FAIL test!
