The primary purpose of the role is to work closely with the People and Culture, and the Data and Digital teams, and undertake workplace engagement, to support the development of a workplace environment strategy, that responds to the wants and needs of employees and optimises their experience wherever.

Note : Preference will be given to Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Wahi Ora candidates.

Mōu About you

You will be extremely knowledgeable about workspace design and technology and undertake financial modelling on differing workspace options.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a workspace policy and strategy that supports Te Whatu Ora strategic goals, including leading the development and design of workplaces that respond to the strategy, and undertake current state assessments of workplace environments and identify gaps between the strategy and current state, as well as develop an investment plan and budget, to support the implementation of the strategy.

In addition, you will work with the regional infrastructure delivery teams to plan and deliver upgrades or changes as approved.

  • Design, architecture, or other related space planning qualification
  • 10+ years skills and experience, including Senior Leadership experience (or consulting or professional body at the organisational level) within a similar role
  • Experience leading work developing standard analytic approaches, including methodologies and templates.
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills to drive required consistency and ensure compliance in a matrix reporting environment.
  • Auditing current state office use and understanding user experience
  • Understanding and analysing user needs, space utilisation and employee data
  • Experience in planning and implementing office refurbishment and relocations to ensure our people have the tools and spaces they need to do their job
  • Leading a team to successfully implement the workspace strategy
