How You'll Spend Your Time :

• Welding and Fabrication : Handle the layout, fabrication, and welding of pipes and fittings using both manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in all positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
• Quality Control : Test and inspect welded surfaces to ensure no flaws or defects.
• Safety First : Keep your work area clean and well-maintained while ensuring that safety standards are met at all times.
• Equipment Maintenance : Keep welding tools and equipment in top condition to avoid safety risks.
• Collaboration : Work with the Safety Director to address any potential hazards or concerns.
• Travel : Be willing to travel to job sites across the continental US, with occasional overnight stays.
• Other duties : Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team.

What Describes You :

• Welding Expertise : You have an SMAW-1 or GTAW-4 welding certification, and ammonia refrigeration system experience is a big plus!
• Education & Experience : High School diploma or GED required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
• Strength & Stamina : You're able to lift and carry heavy items and work in demanding environments.
• Adaptability : You're comfortable with frequent travel (90-100%) and overnight stays.
• Communication Skills : Clear and effective communication is your strong suit.
