Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble products.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the GCM Quality System
- Complete all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Lead or Production Supervisor
- Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions using 6S
- Be a team player as measured by peers
- Perform other related duties assigned
REQUIRED
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be over 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures and prints written in English
- Must be able to operate a forklift safely if certified to do so
- Must show proficiency in the set-up and operation of all necessary equipment
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor
DESIRED
- Two years of mechanical assembly experience
- Forklift certification
