Job Overview :
As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of 1-2 high-speed packaging lines.
Your main objective is to ensure efficient and safe production that meets our quality standards. This role requires effective leadership as you will be overseeing a team of 30-40 employees and promoting an engaged work culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Management : Directly manage and supervise a team of 30-40 employees working on high-speed packaging lines, ensuring their optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Driving Continuous Improvement : Use Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other efficiency methodologies to drive improvements in our processes.
- Engagement and Strategic Direction : Foster a motivated team environment and provide clear strategic direction to achieve production goals.
- Monitoring Performance : Continuously track and maintain production standards for efficiency, material usage, and product quality.
- Collaboration and Safety : Work closely with other managers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations, employee productivity, and adherence to safety standards.
Your Qualifications :
- Education : A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience : Prior experience in manufacturing is necessary, preferably in fields such as food, consumer products, chemicals, or similar industries.
- Leadership Skills : You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, with a strong background in leading teams and managing processes.
- Continuous Improvement : Preferred qualifications include Lean or Six Sigma training or certification, as well as experience in change management.
- Analytical Skills : Strong abilities in using data for coaching, development, and optimizing team performance.
- Problem-Solving Abilities : Capable of multitasking, solving problems, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
