Salary : $80,000 - $115,000 a year.
Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Automation Engineer / Controls Design to fill Direct Hire openings in Indianapolis, IN!
Responsibilities
- Design and implement building automation systems
- Maintain backups of DDC systems and project documentation.
- Prepare and revise project submittals
- Address project gaps and submit RFIs
- Order controllers and devices
- Write programming and develop user interfaces
- Update submittals with field markups
- Coordinate testing and commissioning
- Train facility operators
- Maintain system backups and documentation
- Foster customer relationships
- Escalate critical issues with recommendations
- Adhere to company policies and perform additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Engineering or Technology field or equivalent experience and DDC-specific training is required.
- Experience with CAD Systems and technical / construction programs is required.
- Knowledge of Building Automation and Construction, and Equipment Integration is preferred.
- Experience with DDC / PLC programming is preferred.
- Understanding of low-voltage wiring and HVAC systems
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships
Compensation : $80,000 - $115,000 a year.
