We are seeking a Sr. Survey Technician to join our Development team.

The ideal candidate will offer :

  • A minimum 6 years’ experience surveying for site development (residential, retail, commercial, industrial), transportation, and utilities;
  • Knowledge of land surveying techniques, survey control, construction surveying, and map preparation.
  • Knowledge of Oregon laws and regulations (state and local) related to land surveying;
  • Experience with AutoCAD / Civil (Civil 3D), GPS (Trimble Business Center, Trimble Access field software, Trimble R8 GNSS equipment) and CORS network;
  • Ability to follow company procedures and standards to meet deadlines while managing workload in an efficient manner;
  • 4-year or 2-year degree / certification in Geomatics / Land Surveying, Geography, or related field;
  • LSI certification is preferred.

Typical Responsibilities Include :

  • Using AutoCAD Civil 3D, prepares a variety of survey documents including exhibits, boundary surveys, Records of Survey, exhibits, and subdivision plats;
  • Performs office calculations to reduce GPS field data;
  • Reduces survey data using Trimble Access;
  • Prepares legal descriptions of real property;
  • Prepares topographic maps (including existing ground models / property features;
  • Prepares legal descriptions of real property;
  • Supports field crews for monumentation and construction staking(as needed).
